There’s always that one friend who casually says, “Why don’t you just build an app?” as if it’s as simple as making instant noodles. This post is a love letter (or maybe a rant) about why that statement makes developers want to throw their keyboards.
What They Think:
- Step 1: Have an idea.
- Step 2: Write a few lines of code.
- Step 3: Profit!
What Actually Happens:
- Research frameworks, APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Spend days fixing compatibility issues.
- Realize you need a backend, front-end, and a UX designer.
- Cry when deployment fails.
Why We Secretly Hate It:
It oversimplifies the blood, sweat, and caffeine that goes into app development 🙁
Next time someone says “just build an app,” I’ll smile and say, “Sure! Just hand me $50,000 and a development team. xD
